LevizAlbania është projekt që synon të forcojë demokracinë vendore në Shqipëri përmes angazhimit të aktorëve të shoqërisë civile dhe individëve si kampionë të demokracisë për një qeverisje vendore cilësore.
LevizAlbania mbështet demokracinë vendore në të gjithë vendin nëpërmjet kultivimit të një shoqërie civile me bazë në komunitet, që ka ndikim dhe nxit kërkesën për qeverisje vendore cilësore nëpërmjet:
· Vendimmarrjes gjithëpërfshirëse
· Mbikqyrjes së qeverisjes vendore
· Transparencës
· Përgjegjshmërisë
· Lllogaridhënies
· Monitorimit të ofrimit të shërbimeve publike
Mbështetja Emergjente është një tjetër instrument i rëndësishëm i projektit LevizAlbania, përmes të cilit financohen nisma të shoqërisë civile dhe individëve të lidhura me kauza ose çështje emergjente që rrezikojnë të asimilohen prej faktorit kohë. Mbështetja Emergjente është një mundësi për t’iu përgjigjur nevojës për ndërhyrje përmes aksioneve civile, duke u shqyrtuar me procedurë të thjeshtësuar dhe brenda një kohe të shkurtër, me qëllimin për t’iu përgjigjur në kohë interesit të kauzës ose çështjes emergjente.
Gjithashtu, LevizAlbania ndërmerr projekte strategjike dhe veprimtari advokacie në nivel kombëtar për të mundësuar krjimin e një mjedisi të favorshëm për një demokraci vendore më të mire dhe të qëndrueshme.
Projekti LevizAlbania financohet nga Zyra Zvicerane për Zhvillim dhe Bashkëpunim dhe zbatohet nga konsorciumi i tre organizatave shqiptare të suksesshme, "Fondacioni Shoqëria e Hapur për Shqipërinë", "Partnerët Shqipëri për Ndryshim dhe Zhvillim" dhe "Co-Plan".
UT was founded in 1957 as the State University of Tirana (Universiteti Shtetëror i Tiranës) through the merging of five existing institutes of higher education, the most important of which was the Institute of Sciences, founded in 1947.
UT is the largest and highest ranking university in Albania. It includes eight colleges, 50 academic departments, and 41 study programs or majors. Most programs are offered in Tirana; a few smaller affiliated campuses are located in other Albanian cities, including Saranda in the south and Kukës in the north.
UT offers three-year Bachelor, one- or two-year Master, and three- to five-year doctorate degree programs, in accordance with the Bologna system.
More than 14,000 students attend UT. UT employs more than 900 faculty members.
The current campus is urban and decentralized. A new large and centralized campus has been planned in the southeast periphery of Tirana. Students dorms are grouped in a separate location called Student City (Qyteti Studenti) in southeast Tirana.
UT is the biggest college in Albania and the Balkans, and among the biggest in Europe with 35 000 students. In 2013 the college accepted 95 new Ph.D. students. These are students in possession of bachelor's degrees.

UNIque is a non-profit consulting enterprise located in Tirana (Albania) whose aim is to offer students that follow higher education studies the possibility to bridge the gap between theory and practice. Students are involved in projects and in the management of the Junior Enterprise.
UNIque was founded by know-how JE in cooperation with Albanian students in Albania, Austria, Germany and Italy and was registered as a non profit organization in Albania in October 2009.

The non-profit organization is headquartered out of Seattle, Washington but Startup Weekend Organizers and Facilitators can be found in hundreds of cities around the world. From Mongolia to South Africa to Canada to Brazil, people around the globe are coming together for weekend long workshops to pitch ideas, form teams, and start companies.
Startup Weekend is a 54-hour weekend event, during which groups of developers, business managers, startup enthusiasts, marketing gurus, graphic artists and more pitch ideas for new startup companies, form teams around those ideas, and work to develop a working prototype, demo, or presentation by Sunday evening.
